How to transfer iTunes to Amazon Kindle Fire

This guide is simply show you how to remove DRM from iTunes files and then transfer the converted music and video from iTunes to Kindle Fire.

If you have made purchases through the years on iTunes music or videos and now want to transfer those music/video files into Kindle Fire then this guide is for you. Most of video and music file from iTunes Store come with DRM (e.g., Fair play) protection, you can play only play those music or video on an Apple device like iPhone, iPod iPad. If you want to play them on your Kindle fire you have to get rid of the iTunes DRM first and then copy iTunes content to your new Kindle Fire.

Tips on how to check which Tracks are DRM Protected

This is how you can tell which songs are DRM protected:
1. Open iTunes.
2. Click View > View Options.
3. Check the Kind box and click OK.
4. So you should now have a column named View. Every track will have info in this field. In case it displays as Protected AAC audio file, the file is DRM protected and usually, cannot be played on Amazon Kindle Fire or other media players that not produced by Apple.

Step 1: Import DRM protected files

So you've downloaded and installed this DRM Converter on your laptop or computer, just launch it like any other software. Select all DRM protected files that you just found and drag and drop into the program. You will see all songs that successfully imported in the list.

Step 2: Output setting

In order to play iTunes music or video on Kindle Fire, we need to set output file format that supported by Amazon Kindly Fire. Here is the specs of supported video and audio:
Supported Digital Audio Formats: AAC, WAV, OGG, MP3, MIDI
Supported Digital Video Formats: MPEG-4 (MP4)

For removing DRM from audio files:
Click on "Audio Files to:" and select "Common audio > MP3" from drop-down list.

For remove DRM from video files:
Select "Common video > MP4 (AVC) " from "Video Files to" drop-down list. Click "Settings..." option and set video size as 1024 x 600 pixel or smaller.

Step 3: Begin DRM Converting

Now you press the big "Start" button to begin removing DRM from iTunes music or video files. After the conversion is completed, you will get DRM-free video and music file. You can now transfer music and video from iTunes to Kindle Fire and enjoy it on the go.

Tips: to quick find out the folder for converted file you may click on "Find Target" button. It will directly open the folder.
