How to transfer iTunes to Nook Color
Many people post the question on forum about transferring iTunes music or video files to Nook Color. Here I have picked up a typical question:
"Is it possible to transfer videos or music that purchased and downloaded to a Computer from iTunes to Nook Color? If that's the case. how to do it?"
Normally, the answer will be "No". When you have music or video files that you bought from iTunes Store, most of the files will probably be protected with DRM that prevents you from using iTunes files on devices that not made by Apple. So you can't play DRM protected iTunes files on your Nook directly.
But this guide will show you how to get rid of DRM protection from iTunes files so that you can play them like common video or music files on your Nook Color without any restriction.
Using the right software program, you are able to legally remove DRM protection from iTunes and then transfer them to Nook Color. DRM Media Converter is one of the best DRM Removal Tool. It can get rid of DRM protection from the file that you bought from iTunes, Rhapsody and more online media stores.
Step 1: Import DRM protected Files
Download the software and install it.
It will just take your few minutes. This software will easily run in your system, so don't worry about that.
Start this software from your desktop by double clicking the shortcut. On the top, click "Add..." button to browse iTunes files on your hard disk. Or you can simply drag-and-drop the file to the program.
Step 2: Choose the Output Format
You need to choose an output format for your Nook Color. Choose .MP4 from "Video Files to:" drop-down list for converting video file and .MP3 from "Audio Files to:" for converting music file.
Step 3: Start DRM Removal and Conversion
Done with all settings, click on "Start" button and this software will remove DRM protection and convert iTunes files to Nook Color supported file formats.
Step 4: Transfer iTunes files to Nook Color tablet
Click on "Find Target" button you will open the output files directly. Now
1. Connect your Nook Color into your laptop or computer with mini USB cable
2. Go to "My Computer"
3 Find your Nook drive
4. Open the My videos/music folder
5. Drag and drop converted video or music files into My Video or My Music folder
There is a free Android App that I have found to iTunes to Nook Color is known as, "Double Twist" which you can use with your USB cable, or you can pay extra for "AirSync" which is an add-on and will let you synchronize with iTunes wireless.
