How to burn iTunes M4V to DVD

This guide will show you how to remove DRM protection from iTunes M4V videos and burn M4V to DVD so that you can enjoy iTunes videos on your home DVD player.


Buying video files from online stores including Microsoft Media Center and iTunes means that you will get a WMV or M4V video that is protected by DRM. Although you can view such videos on a computer, this cannot be done on DVD player with big TV screen. If you want to you need to remove the DRM protection and then burn them to DVD. The following tutorial is a simple step by step guide that will show you how to remove DRM and then burn the iTunes to DVD.


Step 1: Removing DRM protection from your iTunes

1. Click "Add..." button to import the DRM-protected files to the program from your computer.
2. Select from the "AVI" from "Video files to" drop down list.
3. The DRM protection can now be removed and M4V video has converted to DVD format by clicking on the "Start" button.


Stage 2: Burning the iTunes to DVD format

1. Launch the DVD Creator and select "Import files" button to add the videos which have the DRM protection removed.


2. If you wish, you can edit your iTunes videos. There is a plug-in video editor that lets you crop, trim, add watermarks and adjust video effects to your videos. In addition, you can customize DVD menu as well as add transitional effects for a personalized project.


3. When you click on "Burn DVD" button, you will get three output choices. You can choose to burn the videos to a DVD disc. The simplest option would be to simply click "Start" to burn the M4V to DVD.
