How to convert DVD and Blu-ray to Galaxy Player

Have you ever thought about enjoy DVD on Galaxy Player but have no idea how to do it? Well, this guide will offer you a simple way to rip DVD to video files so that you can play it on your Galaxy Player. Please take a few minutes to finish reading the tutorial below.

Before we start this guide, all we need is to get a professional DVD ripping tool which can convert any type of DVD movies (included CSS protected DVD), you can download and install it on your pc then follow the steps below.

If you want to convert Blu-Ray movies, you may need a Blu-ray ripper tool, it can rip both common DVDs and Blu-ray discs in high quality.

Step 1:import the DVD files
Start the program and insert the DVD which you want to convert to the Galaxy Player to the DVD-ROM, and then the program will detect the DVD in a few seconds. After the DVD is loaded successfully, you will see a list chapter of DVD movies. You can choose rip all of them or just the main chapter.

Step 2: output setting
Choose from the "Common video" under the "Profile" drop down list and select the .mp4 as the output format. Click the "setting" button and find the "resolution" option and pick the suitable resolution for your Galaxy Player (540*960 or smaller). If you are the advanced computer user, you can change the other output parameters. Otherwise, just keep the default configuration and click the "ok" button to save the settings.
When you convert DVD to audio files, just select the .mp3 as the output format from the "common audio" under the "profile" drop down list.


Step 3: edit the DVD files (Optional)
Click the "Edit" button on the top of the software interface, it will show you a new dialog box, and there will be three options on the lower of the user interface. Click the "crop" option; you can select the "full screen" option through the "zoom" drop down list, so that you can watch the video in a full screen sight. The "effect" option is for you to adjust the brightness, contrast and saturation of the DVD files. From the "watermark" button, you can select the "star up watermark" option to add your favorite icon or press any word you like to the DVD files. It seems very convenient for you to set you own style video. The last one is the "trim" button; this option is for you to set the start and end time of the video, it will save you much time for watching the video. Many DVD files has lots of parts, you can select the "merge into one file" option to merge all these subfolders into one.


Step 4: Start the DVD to Galaxy Player conversion
Click the "Start" button on the lower right of corner of the main interface to start to covert DVD to Galaxy Player. It may take you a couple of hours. After the conversion is completed, the only work you should do is transferring the converted files to your Galaxy Player, and now you can enjoy DVD movies on the go.
